Through her practice as a mediator, arbitrator and facilitator, Jennifer applies over 25 years of labour relations experience as an advocate and a mediator to support people in managing conflict.
Jennifer is recognized for an approach to conflict management which focuses on building relationships while supporting creative problem-solving.
She is on the Ministry of Labour's list of arbitrators and adjudicators under the Canada Labour Code and is a part-time Member of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She is also on the roster of Mediators and Arbitrators for the Sport Dispute Resolution Council of Canada.
In addition to her work as a mediator / arbitrator, Jennifer designs and delivers highly interactive workshops which focus on: conflict management; building respectful workplaces, team development, effective meetings, negotiations, and innovative problem-solving.
Jennifer has been a leader in the teaching and practice of interest-based negotiation techniques since 2000. She has facilitated interest-based processes for employers and unions in: aviation; First Nations workplaces; Crown Corporations; telecommunications; and the nuclear industry.
She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the ADR Institute of Ontario. She is also certified as a facilitator in the use of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods to enhance thinking, communication and problem-solving.
