Through her practice as a mediator, arbitrator and facilitator, Jennifer applies over 25 years of labour relations experience as an advocate and a mediator to support people in managing conflict.​


Jennifer is recognized for an approach to conflict management which focuses on building relationships while supporting creative problem-solving.


She is a part-time Vice-Chair with the Canada Industrial Relations Board and is on the Ministry of Labour's list of arbitrators under the Canada Labour Code.  Jennifer is also a Member of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada (TATC) and the Ontario Condominium Authority Tribunal.  She was a part-time member of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) from 2017 to 2019 and provided mediation services to parties in relation to applications before the Tribunal.  


In addition to her work as a mediator / arbitrator, Jennifer designs and delivers highly interactive workshops which focus on:  conflict management; building respectful workplaces, team development, effective meetings, negotiations, and innovative problem-solving.  She works as a collective bargaining trainer and coach for the Queen's Industrial Relations Centre.


Jennifer has been a leader in the teaching and practice of interest-based negotiation and problem-solving techniques since 2000.  She has facilitated interest-based processes for employers and unions in:  aviation; First Nations workplaces; Crown Corporations; telecommunications; and the nuclear industry.


​She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and was on the Board of the ADR Institute of Ontario from 2019 to 2021.  She is also certified as a facilitator in the use of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods to enhance thinking, communication and problem-solving.
